PADCHEK® was invented by Dr. H. Shimazu, a world-renowned biomedical inventor. PADCHEK® measures both the ankle brachial index (ABI) and a pulse volume recording (PVR) in approximately 9 minutes. Padchek is portable and is being used extensively in the home health market and now allows the use of a highly accurate testing instrument within a home setting. Our mission is to make this instrument available to health care providers so that they can detect PAD in the asymptomatic population who have risk factors for PAD. We are convinced that developing a testing program using Padchek can save lives.
“Despite its seriousness and prevalence, P.A.D. is often undiagnosed, undertreated, and unknown.”
